𝟐𝟔-year-old Bangladeshi crime-writer KP Imon is popular for his crime and psychological novels, short-stories, and screenplays.

Profile

Kishor Pasha Imon, the author of 𝟏𝟐 books, is a well-known Bangladeshi crime writer. He born in Christian Mission Hospital, Rajshahi in 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟓.

This RUET mechanical engineering graduate began writing short stories in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟑. His debut book, “āĻŽāĻŋāĻĨāĻ¸ā§āĻ•ā§āϰāĻŋ⧟āĻž (Interaction),” was published in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔 by Batighar Prokashoni, the leading crime fiction publisher in Bangladesh. He continued his novelist career with bestsellers of the likes of “āĻ›āĻžāϰāĻĒā§‹āĻ•āĻž : āĻĻā§āϝ āĻŦā§āϝāĻžāϟāϞ āĻ…āĻĢ āĻŽāĻžāĻšā§‡āĻ¨ā§āĻĻā§āϰāĻĒ⧁āϰ (Bugs: The battle of Mahendrapur)”, “āϝ⧇ āĻšā§€āϰāĻ•āĻ–āĻŖā§āĻĄā§‡ āϘ⧁āĻŽāĻŋāϝāĻŧ⧇ āϕ⧁āϕ⧁āϰāĻĻāϞ (Sleeping Dogs Lie)”, “āϜāĻžāĻĻ⧁āϘāϰ āĻĒāĻžāϤāĻž āφāϛ⧇ āĻāχ āĻāĻ–āĻžāύ⧇ (The Playroom)”, “āĻāχāĻ–āĻžāύ⧇ āϜāĻžāĻĻ⧁āϘāϰ āĻĒāĻžāϤāĻž āφāĻŽāĻžāĻĻ⧇āϰ (Return to the Playroom)”, “āĻŽā§ƒāĻ—āϤ⧃āώāĻž (Mirage)”. He signed with India’s one of the most famous Bengali publication house Abhijan Publishers in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟕 as his sole-publisher in India, who published 𝟒 of his novels till date.

KP Imon is also a screenwriter. His A Toy Operation Theater was well appraised by renowned film-critics and directors such as Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. He wrote over 𝟐𝟑𝟎 short stories and translated 𝟗 novels alongside his novels.

Inside the engineering community, KP Imon’s legal name is Musa Ibne Mannan – a graduate student in the mechanical and manufacturing engineering department at Texas State University. This SME-certified additive manufacturing technician has been researching the development of a novel testing device to identify COVID-𝟏𝟗 and similar viruses in the microsystem lab of the Ingram School of Engineering since 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏.
