Welcome to the official website of Kishor Pasha Imon, a well-known Bangladeshi crime writer. With 𝟏𝟑 published novels and over two-hundred short stories to his credit, KP Imon has made a name for himself as a prolific and engaging writer. He born at Christian Mission Hospital, Rajshahi in 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟓.
This RUET mechanical engineering graduate began writing short stories in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟑. His debut book, “মিথস্ক্রিয়া (Interaction),” was published in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟔 by Batighar Prokashoni, the leading crime fiction publisher in Bangladesh. He continued his novelist career with bestsellers of the likes of “ছারপোকা : দ্য ব্যাটল অফ মাহেন্দ্রপুর (Bugs: The battle of Mahendrapur)”, “যে হীরকখণ্ডে ঘুমিয়ে কুকুরদল (Sleeping Dogs Lie)”, “জাদুঘর পাতা আছে এই এখানে (The Playroom)”, “এইখানে জাদুঘর পাতা আমাদের (Return to the Playroom)”, “মৃগতৃষা (Mirage)”. He signed with India’s one of the most famous Bengali publication house Abhijan Publishers in 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟕 as his sole-publisher in India, who published 𝟔 of his novels till date.
In addition to his writing career, KP Imon is also a screenwriter. His screenplay for A Toy Operation Theater received critical acclaim from renowned film critics and directors such as Amitabh Reza Chowdhury. He has also translated 𝟗 novels and written over 𝟐𝟑𝟎 short stories.
KP Imon, renowned for his profound contributions, achieved his Master of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Texas State University in May 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑. During his tenure in the esteemed microsystem lab at the Ingram School of Engineering, his research focused on the intricate realm of tRNA fragment detection, a pivotal domain within the field of molecular biology. Currently, he is embarking on a distinguished journey as a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas. Within the engineering community, KP Imon, recognized as Musa Ibne Mannan, stands as a resolute researcher and holds the esteemed title of an SME-certified additive manufacturing technician.
